About us 
The Painted Cookie, LLC was formed in 2009 after many years of designing and donating cookies to local events and charities. Owner Susan Schmitt lives in the artistic community of Silvermine, CT with her husband and 2 sons.
Many of our designs are featured on CopperGifts.com's website. Susan has collaborated on several new cutter designs as well. Need a special cutter shape? We can have a custom cutter designed for your event at an additional cost.

How Much Do Your Cookies Cost?
Our cookies are priced according to the complexity of the design and size. The average cost for a wrapped favor is $3.75 and platters start at $30.oo per dozen.
Do Your Cookies Contain Nuts***?
Our Sugar Cookie ingredients are Flour, Butter, Sugar, Eggs, Baking Soda, Nutmeg and Lemon Peel. We use Royal Icing for decorating our cookies which includes Meringue Powder, Powdered Sugar and Water. Please email if you need our Ginger Spice Cookie ingredients available only in December. *** Our cookies do not contain nuts, but nut products are sometimes used in our kitchens, so if you are concerned about a nut allergy, PLEASE DO NOT place an order with us.
Do You Require a Minimum Order?
Yes 1 dozen cookies. For shipping orders we require a 2 dozen minimum

How Do I Guarantee My Shipping Order?
Once you approve your Order Confirmation by email, you will be sent a PayPal Invoice for payment. Only a paid order can be added to our production calendar which is booked on a "First-Paid Basis". We do limit our shipping orders during peak holidays, so please plan accordingly.
Do you charge for packaging?
We take "extra care" steps to insure your cookies arrive unbroken. First we individually wrap your favors and package only a single layer in tab-locked box to prevent breakage. The average cost to package is $6.00 per dozen depending on the size of your favors. Shipping costs are an additional charge.
What Carriers Do You Use To Ship?
We ship our orders via UPS. If you prefer another carrier we are happy to ship FedEx Or USPS. Please be advised only UPS and FedEx guarantee their delivery dates and tracking. The Postal Service only provides delivery confirmation, not tracking.

How Much Notice for Orders? For local orders we prefer at least 10 days notice and 2 weeks during any holiday season. Shipping Order we prefer at least 2-3 weeks notice. Do you Use Edible Images? At this time we do not. Most designs can be drawn onto our cookies. Please feel free to email us your design and we will let you know if we can draw it for you. I Have An Idea of The Design I Want, Do You Have More Pictures To View? Yes if you go to our Blog or Facebook Page, we have most of our designs categorized for easy viewing.
